Bad Hair Day

It was brrr cold this am...So being the smart stylish man I may be I wore a nice sweater--no reason to look frumpy. So after putting it on and taking it off you can see my hair is a staticy mess! Guess I will have to go home early...

Happy Holidays

In this time of uncertianty, its nice to know that no matter what, the holidays still roll around.  Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year.  Not really because of the gifts I may get or receive, but its what the holiday season does to people.  Everyone seems to really get what LOVE means.  Hearts open up, people smile more, they wish each other Happy Holidays in passing (and actually mean it).  We remember what giving is, and open up our pocketbooks to charities and people in need.

It’s what makes this season special! The warmth of life in December, the shared meals, the shared laughter, and many many memories.

My wish for each of you is that you have a warm, loving place to celebrate the season.  Please, also take a moment to remember those of our brothers and sisters that arent home with us this season.  They are overseas serving in the Military, and won’t get the option of spending time at home this holiday.  Send them warm thoughts!  And thank them when you see them around.  Its because of what they do that you CAN disagree with the war if you so choose!

If you know of any military spouses who will be home alone, or for that matter anyone who will be home alone on Christmas, invite them over!  Share your family with them!  Trust me in knowing that will be the best gift they will get!

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!  And the best for a fun, exciting, challenging new year!!

Yeah for HAIRSPRAY!!!

Today we are going to see HairSpray!!  YEAH, now, to be honest..I have never seen Hairspray the movie or otherwise, so I am sure I am in for a treat.  My friends seem to think I know all the words to all the musicals, when really its just the Sound of Music I can sing along to word for word he he he….

Dinner in Ybor, cocktails with my Sistahs, a night at the theater…can anything really be better?

Okay, so we went to see Hairspray, and allthough I can hear the bells, it was about all I could hear. We were either sitting in the Wrong place, or they sound was screwy... It was darn near impossible to hear anything that was a cast number (ie, the first and last numbers)...But I still totally enjoyed it!!

Heck, I got to eat some deeelicious spanish food, and it was To Die For. If are in Tampa, you MUST go to Columbia in Ybor City!!

My honey & I took a cruise in January of 2006 run by Atlantis Events. We had a BLAST! 3,000+ of our brothers (sistahs) on the cruise...loads of HUGE parties on the deck. Any cruise ships passing by musta been like WTF!!!

See below the photo videos I made, turn up the sound!!

A wash n wax...

Its a chilly saturday...and I have been up what feels like forever. For some unknown reason I was up at six, but at least had half the laundry done before we even left for the market.

Thought since it was early and my poor car had been neglected for so long...it was time for a good car wash. They are pretty busy...being Saturday...but I have not much else to dö today.

So with a clean car...i can enjoy the rest of my day...chilly as though it may be...

Sail Away, Sail Away, Sail Away!!

That’s right kids, its vacation planning time again, and in a total turn of events—my hubby & I have decided to try a back to back cruise on the Jewel of the Seas (Royal Caribbean).  Now the first leg is a gay group cruise, run by Pied Piper.  Now, we have done an ALL gay cruise (Atlantis), but never a group…but our lovely gaybors just got back, and said it was sooo fun they booked again.  So instead of Europe, we are going to spend 15days sailing the seas, basking in the sun, sipping drinks with umbrellas in them, and frolicking in the fun that is cruising!   The second leg is just a regular RCCL cruise, and It will be just as much fun.  Then I will have the total experience:  All gay, gay group, AND mixed!

YEAH!!  I am sooo excited, and in fact my husband will probably want to kill me soon, because I get giddy, and it just doesn’t stop until we go, get back, and I end up spending days doing laundry!! J

The calm before the storm

I hate going to the mall after thanksgiving...through about new years, but Anthony needed a hair cut and oil change (well, the truck needed the oil change, not Anthony. Apparently the crowd doesn't come till later -- so its pretty calm!
