Uniform of the past week
I have interviewing like a mad dog in the past two weeks.. so its been suit and tie all the way! Not that I mind, but its been pretty hot too -- so its a delicate balance trying to look good and stay cool.
I have been trying to take the MARTA when practical -- the less I have to drive my car, the happier I will be!! So, needless to say I have been getting more excersise (and the 10 lbs down is what I have to show for it....)
Hopefully an offer will come rolling in the door soon

My building..for now
I live in this building -- well not this one, its actually its twin... I took it from the pool yesterday. Quite nice visually. There is a publix in the basement -- which is totally hot :-)

What up ATL
So -- I am here....finally...the new guy in town...and on my own.
Its been a rough journey to this point, but the road is starting to go in my favor...
Work is shaking out (soon I hope), i have a place to stay for now, and the people I am meeting are great. I missed the south!!
So if you see me on the streets -- say HEY!
And that above---my new motto :-) Really its about not being boring -- and boring is NOT me...

Typhoid Lagoon
err..Typhoon Lagoon rather at Disney is probably one of the very few good bargains left in the land of mouse...its only $40 to get in, and they let you bring in your own coolers (what? I know!).
It was of course HOT (being August in Whorelando -- its always a sweltering sweatbox) and very busy, as most of the florida kids are not yet back in school.
A good time was had by all...the highlights are just all in all the goofiness that naturally occurs when you mix six adults, a little rum (and or/bourbon) and hit the water.... :-)
and for the next oh 30 days or so you can see a handful of goofy pics posted here

Dog days ... ...
It really is the dog days of summer here in Florida. Its pretty bad when its close to eighty at 5am; and the sun hasn't even really thought about coming out yet..
It does make it rather tough to negotiate the mornings -- when its already wet and warm. But with Southern Decadence coming up -- I have to get used to the humdity again ... I better get some frizz ease, and a personal fan LOL...

Bubba Licious!!
So, one of my good friends got photographed by a great fort lauderdale photographer -- and i went to his website and sent him an email -- and he sent the nicest reply back. its been a while since I did any blogging (textually). I have found quite a few gems on you tube to share you with (my three blog readers out there). because, really , its been not much to say. Not even now LOL
We are -- for my first time -- going to southern decadence in NOLA. Now, I should say tentatively -- as last time we planned a trip to NOLA, Kat came to the party and ruined the whole thing *sigh*....
We will hope for better this time...and maybe some more news later as I get exciting things to say!
